Tough couple of days

1. Having a rough time with my ankle, but feeling optimistic that it won't sideline me for too long.

2. New hair! Love getting my hair done. My stylist is the best. And seriously gives the best head massage ever.

3. Was dreading going to get an x-ray today, but I only had to wait a few minutes and the people at the Riverside Hospital were all super friendly.

Dog tags and ice packs

1. Finished the Army Half Marathon today. Not my fastest time, but I persevered despite a lot of pain in my ankle. Lots of great support along the course.

2. Seeing a double amputee cross the finish line. Makes my pain seem pretty insignificant.

3. Now taking a rest from running for a bit. Looking forward to spending more time on my bike and yoga mat.

Tier 4?

1. My women's volleyball team played in the OCVL qualifier tournament today and won a Tier 4 ranking. Tier 4! We ended last season in Tier 9. So crazy. So excited.

2. Rocked it out at yoga today. Day 10 of the 30 day challenge and I felt strong!

3. Finally got around to watching the premiere of the new season of the Biggest Loser. Was not disappointed. The contestants are really great and I'm feeling inspired.

Old friends

1. Chatted with Adina, one of my oldest friends, tonight. Love that we always just pick back up where we left off.

2. Scored the best seat on the plane on my way back from the conference in Toronto today...the one by the emergency exit with the extra leg room.

3. Awesome Moksha Music yoga class tonight.  The sing-along to "Don't Worry Be Happy" was hilarious and fun.

Over the hump

1. Super successful day at work. School was featured on 4 local news outlets. Really nice email from my boss about it.
2. Glee. Sweet jesus I love this show.
3. Extra extra mean Wednesday. The greader girls are too damn funny.

Active Tuesday

1. Started the day with yoga, ran and did weights after work, then played volleyball. So lucky to be able to be active.
2. Lots of compliments on my "grown-up" outfit today. Starting to feel okay in my skin again.
3. SYTYCD Canada night. Toe tapping shall commence.

One month in

1. Did my measurements after one month of Body for Life. Down 6 pounds and 2 inches.
2. Good Weight Watchers meeting tonight - I really like the people who attend my Monday meeting. They always make me feel like I'm doing a good job.
3. Had some time to catch up with Flickr/Greader pals tonight.
